This sort of card is a first for me and has been made for a friend in a Card Swap Challenge Group I belong to on Facebook.
We swap cards once a month having been given the remit by our Host of the Group.
This months remit was to make a Double Slider Card using Blue, Orange and Green as the main colours. It was then up to the individual as to how they achieved this.
Our host also shared a YouTube tutorial, this time from Dawn Griffiths
Below is my design and I know that my Swap Partner has now received it.
I chose to use Dapper Denim for my main card.
My slider colour is Pmpkin Pie
For my Green element, I used Always Artichoke
At first I thought this would be a difficult card to make and I was surprised how easy it all came together. Dawn's tutorial above is very easy to follow, so credit is given to her.
For my Die Cuts I used Delightful Daisy DSP, one of the new collection from Stampin' Up!
Framelits Labels Collection were used on all the elements.
My second layer uses Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper, the 3rd layer being Always Artichoke, 4th layer is again Delightful Daisy DSP and to finish Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper for the small Butterflies.
The butterflies are now a 'retired' punch called Bitty Butterfly, I will still use it for my personal use though.
To make the 'Pull', I chose Mossy Meadow Ribbon which is attached with a staple. The cut out for the ribbon was done using 1.25 Scallop Circle Punch.
This is how the card looks for the slider elements
Finally I had to complete the back of the card and here it is
I hope you like my interpretation and that my Partner likes it too.
