Good morning to you all and a warm welcome to the very first
JOY of SETS CHALLENGE BLOG
This idea came about from a Facebook Group I belong to called: The Joy of Sets (SU)
The lovely Fiona Whitehead started this group a couple of months ago and she already has 2445 members in her group.
Her idea was to encourage people to look at the Stamps in their collection from Stampin' Up! and join in by making and posting finished designs into the Albums she has created. It must be Stampin' Up product and you can use either new or retired sets.
It is up to you how often you join in and the only rule Fiona has is that it must be one of the Stamp Sets in the Album Files.
From this small beginning she came up with the idea of having a Challenge Blog which changes every two weeks.
Luckily I was asked if I would like to be part of her Design Team and of course I said YES.
There are 6 Design Team Members plus Fiona who organises us all.
When you check the Blog you will see all the other members and see what beautiful creations they have made.
So onto the First Challenge which has the name of 'F' which of course is the name of your host.
Here is my first design
I decided to go with a favourite 'Z' Card Fold and to use the beautiful Designer Series Paper called
Fresh Florals alongside the new In Colour Card which is Lemon Lime Twist.
For the letter 'F' I used the lovely Floral Phrases Stamp Set which co-ordinates with the DSP
The DSP is a pack of 12x12 papers all in the New In Colour range. Love it:)
A touch of Black Card makes the design 'POP'
To complete my card I added a few Jewel Basic Pearls.
